Pokok Asam Jawa (Tamarindus indica) is an African native cultivated across Malaysia for centuries. Fine feathery foliage on a broad, dense, long-lived frame, with brown pods of sour edible pulp. Exceptionally hardy in drought, wind and poor soil.
