Batai Laut (Peltophorum pterocarpum), the Yellow Flame, is a large shade tree with golden flower panicles. A wide, flat-spreading crown topped with upright sprays of fragrant golden-yellow flowers above rusty-brown buds. Fine bipinnate foliage; needs generous room.
