Ashoka (Monoon longifolium), the Mast Tree, is native to India and Sri Lanka and ubiquitous in regional landscape work. Narrow and strongly columnar, with long wavy-edged leaves hanging in curtains from top to base. The classic avenue and screening tree where width is limited.
