Hibiscus Tiliaceus 'Purpurascens' (Purple Sea Hibiscus)

Purple Sea Hibiscus (Hibiscus tiliaceus 'Purpurascens') is a selected coloured form of the coastal sea hibiscus. Deep wine-purple heart-shaped leaves are the draw, set off by yellow hibiscus flowers that darken to maroon as the day passes. Salt-tolerant and happy in coastal wind.

Grown for permanent dark foliage colour, which is rare among tropical trees, set against yellow hibiscus flowers that age to orange. Salt-tolerant and well suited to coastal and poolside planting. Supplied farm-direct as mature stock, ready to establish on your project from day one.
