Elaeocarpus Grandiflorus (Fairy Petticoats)
Fairy Petticoats (Elaeocarpus grandiflorus) is a Southeast Asian native grown chiefly as an ornamental. Slightly weeping in habit, hung with white bell-shaped flowers whose fringed margins give the fairy-petticoat name. Prefers moist, sheltered positions.
A flowering feature for waterside and path-edge planting, where the pendulous fringed blooms hang below the foliage and are best appreciated from underneath. Supplied farm-direct as mature stock, ready to establish on your project from day one.
