Cratoxylum Cochinchinensis (Pokok Kayu Arang)
Pokok Kayu Arang (Cratoxylum cochinchinensis) is a Malaysian native of secondary forest and disturbed ground. Fine-textured and open-branched, with coppery-pink new leaves and small pale flowers. Drought-hardy once established and tolerant of poor soils.
Chosen for difficult sites — thin soil, full exposure, minimal irrigation. The coppery-pink new growth gives repeated seasonal interest, and its open branching casts light shade suitable for underplanting. Supplied farm-direct as mature stock, ready to establish on your project from day one.
